Extreme Staffing Night at the speedway lived up to its name with exciting racing happening all night long. Fittingly the night began with The Extreme Staffing Double Deckers. A fan favorite, the double deckers have one car stacked on top of another, requiring two drivers, with the top car controlling the steering and the bottom car having the gas and brake. SALINA, Kan. — Last August a new face entered a night’s racing action at the Salina Speedway, but it was a very familiar one as NASCAR veteran Ken Schrader visited the 3/8 mile oval.
Schrader competed in the Long McArthur IMCA Modified division and finished a respectable sixth place after starting thirteenth in an exciting feature event that saw Corey Burch outlasting Corey Burch for the win.

MAY 2, 2016... Taking advantage of Michael Faccinto’s contact with a lapped car, Ronnie Gardner (Corona, California) led the final three laps to claim Saturday’s main event at Bakersfield Speedway. Saturday night was the annual running of the Ted Stofle Classic at Merced Speedway. The track pays tribute every season to the future Hall Of Famer, who died in a tragic hunting accident after winning his fifth consecutive Stock Car championship in 1980.
