that was still while flipping. I left my hutch device in the trailer. Never took the time to put it on. Ended up flipping 3 or 4 times and hitting that stone wall in the background. put a descent hole in the wall. I ended up with a torn ligament in my c1 vertebrate. I was knockd out in the crash and dont remember any of it. I was told i came to crawled out and walk to the ambulance and laid down on the strecher. I do remember laying there and filling the doc touching my feet. and i told him not to cut off my fire suit. he didnt thank god. They then flew me to wichita to find the torn ligament. Wasnt a fun night. THE MORAL OF THE STORY WHERE YOU HANS DEVICES AT ALL TIME. IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE GET ONE.
I no several shops are now using my photo to promote use of HANS.
If you look closely you can see my shoulders are still against the back of my seat. My belts didnt come loose. This show how much a body can stretch in the event of a crash.

looks to me like your a lucky man, so do you wear a funky hat to the track everytime you race.....I remember someone that did that....lol
