Those are the neatest cars. I remember seeing this car run in Cheyenne and Denver. I believe he use to race with a guy named Billy Vaughn who drove #85 or #87.

The car on the trialer still had the V-8 flat head in it, there were some great drivers that raced back in the 60's and 70's......back when the fast cars started in the back and had to learn to drive in traffic if they wanted to win

That has been a sore spot of conversation for many years with the CARC.They do it tht way at BCS and I-25 but not CNS. But it does make for much better racing to watch the fast guys work their way through the pack to the front.
