Adding video to your posts: INSTRUCTIONS

We have just added a new feature to Big West Racing! Now you have the ability to add YouTube videos directly into your posts.


Here's how....

When creating a post click the little YouTube icon in the post creation window (in the editor toolbar). You will be asked for the "option" which is the title of the video (you can make up a title or even leave it blank).

Then you will get a code like this in your post.... (except it will have your title in it)

Put the YouTube video identifier in-between the code and you are done! You get that code from YouTube. (it's the last part of the video's YouTube URL i.e., http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4nBWns82Ok) DON'T ENTER THE ENTIRE YouTube video URL - ONLY THE VIDEO IDENTIFIER (sometimes you have to mess with it a bit to find just the right portion of the address)

So your code should look something like this...

And your video would appear like this in your post.... (when posting hit "preview post" to make sure you have entered it correctly)

By the way, we will ban you if you post vulgar or profane videos on Big West Racing. We would prefer that you post mainly racing video's but other video's are also acceptable if they are of interest and on topic. If you are not sure if your video is clean enough or appropriate for BWR play it safe and assume it isn't.
