What do you remember about Harry McCool?

I remember Harry driving a 1957 Ford Convertible that Harry crashed hard on the front stretch at CNS in the 60's. After all the bouncing, rolling and thrashing about was over; Harry's car rested upright and most of the body was torn away, the cage was intact and there sat Harry still belted in looking a little dazed. When the safety crew arrived, they helped Harry out the pile of metal carnage, Harry walked with away with a little help to the ambulance, waved to the crowd, and the crowd gave a Harry a hoop and holler with a round of aplause.

CRM had a CNS program cover exhibited from the dirt track days in the 60's, the program cover had a picture of a line up showing Harry's '57 Ford convertible sitting on front row out side.
