Revised Format for Salina Speedway Spring Fling April 13-14

The format for the Salina Speedway Spring Fling on April 13-14, 2012 has been revised. Below is the format for the inaugural event:

FRIDAY
Heats will be lined up by draw. Top X amount of cars will move to the A Scramble later in the night automatically. Number of cars advancing is dependent on car count. The rest will be placed into Qualifying Races.
Qualifying Races will consist of those not qualified for the A Scramble. Top X amount of cars will advance to the A Scramble, once again dependent on car count.
A Scramble will consist of heat race and qualifying race qualifiers. The top 5 or 6 (dependent on car count) drivers will automatically transfer to Saturday's Championship Feature and will occupy positions 1-(5 or 6).

SATURDAY
Heats will be lined up by draw. Heat winners will advance to the Championship Feature automatically. The rest will be placed into Last Chance Qualifiers.
Last Chance Qualifiers will consist of those not qualified for the Championship Feature. Top X amount of cars will advance to the Championship Feature, once again dependent on car count.
Championship Feature will consist of 5 or 6 qualified drivers from Friday's A Scramble, X amount of heat race winners on Saturday, and X amount of advanced drivers from the Last Chance Qualifiers.

2 provisionals will be awarded. One for longest tow, the other for best average finisher in heats and qualifiers not already in the race.

Drivers will get to race at least 2 races each day!
