Peters loves Iowa

Camping World Truck points leader Timothy Peters driving the Red Horse Racing #17 Toyota Tundra would start on the pole for the the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway and survive a 10 lap shoot out with Ron Hornaday Jr. for the win.

Cale Gale and Dakoda Armstrong would have issues with each other bringing out the yellow to set up the final restart.

"I love Iowa and I love going to places where our results are OK and turning them into a best finish," Peters said. "[Saturday] was definitely a milestone in my career, I feel like, because I've never sat on the pole and never led like we did to win the race."

James Buescher who won the last event for the Camping World Trucks at Kentucky would led for 91 of the 200 laps before blowing his right front tire two-thirds of the way through the race slapping the wall eliminating his chance for back to back victories.
