Buescher not blue in Kentucky
James Buescher, driving the #31-Exide Chevrolet for Turner Motorsports had the most dominating truck in the field for the 2nd annual UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Often leading the field by over 2 seconds.
Buescher is the first repeat winner of the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season and just 9 points behind points leader Timothy Peters A three-car wreck on Lap 69, involving two-time series champ Todd Bodine, points leader Justin Lofton and last week's Nationwide Series winner Nelson Piquet Jr. would prove costly for Lofton as he would finish in the 14th position surrendering the point lead to Timothy Peters. The real story behind the race is the drive that Kyle Larson made in his first NASCAR race. The 19 year old open wheel rising star had mechanical problems in practice, resulting in an engine change. With limited practice Larson would start the race at the tail end of the field and steady work his way into a top 10 position when the checkers dropped.
