As many of you are aware the shoutbox (Pit Tower) had become pretty much of a full blown live chat and it simply was not designed to handle that type of usage. We at Big West are glad that our users enjoy chatting so we have implemented a full blown LIVE CHAT here on Big West called the Big West Racing Bar and Grill.

CLICK HERE to enter the chat room.

You can chat about racing, sports, politics, or anything else (just keep it clean, that's all we ask).

The Bar and Grill is a JAVA based chat room so if you cannot see the chat room when you click the link you might try a few of these helpful suggestions...

1. Use the FireFox web browser.
This will fix 80% of any problems you might have browsing the net. FireFox is free and can be downloaded here.

If you still have troubles....

2. Update or install JAVA.
JAVA is free and can be downloaded here.

3. Chat from another computer.
It's possible that some older computer setups or computers at work locations may have security settings that will block the chat room. There is nothing we can do about that, (from our end) so you will have to chat at home or on another computer.

The new chat room, recognizes your Big West username and password so if you are a member of Big West Racing you can chat! The Bar and Grill is completely free and intended for your enjoyment. If you are not a Big West registered member you can register here (it's completely free!).

Once you are on the chat you will notice that it is packed full of features so if you don't know how to do something in the chat, just ask! There are plenty of folks that are more than willing to help you get everything figured out.

Now that we have moved back to using the ShoutBox I am going to close the bar. It's too expensive and not enough folks use it.

It was fun for a few days but it just didn't work out. Sometimes you never know until you try.
