Chris had a huge lead in the race and was on his way to victory. Then a caution came out and he got shuffled back to 5th (crate motor's start slow). He was working his way back to the lead and when he got to 2nd place somebody crashed him out of the race.

(at least that what I read about it).

Thanks webby. A lot of times, local drivers don't take kindly to a 'hired gun' collecting 'their' gold and leaving town with it. Chris deserved better and it will be interesting to read what he contributes to this posting. ~VB

Wonder if the race winner at Wenatchee is the same Ron Eaton that has been wheeling stock cars for 40+ years. That Ron Eaton is 68 years young. Of course he still has to go some to catch up to Hershel McGriff.

I just bet that it was the 68 years young Ron Eaton that won this race in the #7X. ~VB
