Logano nips Busch

Joey Logano would show patience and play the waiting game in Saturdays Aaron's 312 Nationwide race at Talladega Superspeedway. Wait during a 19 minute red flag delay.

The red flag was displayed during an attempt at a green/white/checker when a 9 car wreck starting near the front the of the pack would send the #14 Eric McClure car out of control and tattooing the Hefty/Reynolds Wrap Toyota head on into the inside safer barrier at or near full speed. - http://youtu.be/nv5YYOekRoQ

Safety personnel cut the roof off the McClure car and he was flown to the hospital for further treatment/evaluation. McClure was reportedly talking with the medical personal on scene.

Logano would jump up behind Busch on the final restart and push until turn 4 where he would duck out just before the start/finish line to clinch the victory. Logano's victory was .034 seconds over his Sprint Cup Team mate Kyle Busch.

On the cool down lap Danica Patrick and Sam Hornish Jr. would exchange greetings with Danica stuffing Hornish into the wall. This apparently in retaliation after Honrish would move up blocking Patrick's run at the finish line.
