Anyone Race iRacing? - Auto Racing Forum

After racing against Dennis Stepenich Jr last night, I just wanted to know if anyone else races?

For those of you who don't know what iRacing is, its a place for racing fans to come together in a virtual setting and race, no matter what your real life racing experience is. The physics of the car are the most realistic out there and they continue to get better. Need practice setting a car up? iRacing helps you do just that. All of the setup changes in the game translate over and are a real help to anyone trying to make a setup for the real track.

iRacing also features 5 NASCAR sanctioned series that race for real NASCAR points. The top level of the series, the NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship. 50 of the world's best sim racers compete on simulated versions of the actual real-world NASCAR tracks and cars at iRacing.com. The NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship is sanctioned by NASCAR and iRacing.com to determine the best virtual stock-car racer in the world. Race recaps and standings are posted on NASCAR.com.

The game does not cost any money upfront however there is a $12/mo subscription that you must pay to keep the service.

If you guys are interested but are afraid to pay money for something you don't like then I might be able to get a couple of people 3 months for free just send me a PM or post in this thread. First come first serve.

IS there any dirt racing on there and if so i would like to try it if anyone would help me get set up

There aren't very many games that have brought anything realistic to the table as far as dirt goes.

I'm on there as well. Run in a couple of leagues with Luke, friends with Nick and a few others.
