Bill DeWald is currently in St Anthony North in the ICU after complications from knee replacement surgery. Bill is on a ventilator and not doing well and need our thought and prayers.

Barb DeWald is putting on a Car Show that’s not a Car Show in Bennett Colorado June 10, 2012 as a welcome home party for Bill. (Positive thinking and Prayers) Rat Rods to Customs to Race Cars and Motorcycles meet at McDonalds in Bennett at 9AM.

An update from Barb DeWard, she said that the hospital has asked for no visitors for the next 48 hours.

Barb has asked that instead of cards that you could send your racing hero card or an autographed hot wheel car to the hospital. A hot wheel that depicts you to "Wild Bill".

Best of luck for a speedy recovery Bill, you are in my thoughts and prayers. For many years my car wore the Chevy Shed sponsor, thanks for all of the support.

Well bill is getting better and better by the day but very small steps he was given a trach ,to day so they can get him off the breathing tube out of his mouth, but he is still a very sick man and can use all of are thoughts and prayers, as you all know wild bill has and would help every racer for years and when all the nice thing get put on this site it sure does help.
