Frenier, DeLoach win the Battle, but Ursetta,Gearhart win the War...
After sheding Blood Sweat and Tears all summer long, putting on some of the best Modified shows in the midwest the 2011 BST / IMCA Season wrapped up in Goodland Kansas at the Flatlander Classic. Both Colorado and Kansas had there final two shows Fri and Sat. With over fifty modifieds checking in, it was anyones race to win. But Fort Morgans Jeremy Frenier proved to be to tough to tame taking Friday nights main event showing the rest of the field the fast way around the big flat wide 3/8 track. Frenier was tailed close by Dylan Sherfick, 3rd John Hansen, 4th Cody Gearhart, 5th Dominic Ursetta,6th Brett Smith, 7th Nate Moore, 8th Shannon Mcughlin, 9th Darren Deloach, 10th Adam Morris, 11th Eddie Belic, 12th Ryan Gaylord, 13th Kyle Rohleder, 14th Garrett Sporhase, 15th Greg Gustis, 16th Bubba Alvarado, 17th Chad Taylor, 18th Will Brack, 19th John Fose and 20th Chris Lueck.
Saturday Lamars Darren DeLoach was smooth,fast and did not leave a door open lap after lap leaving second place Will Brack just watching his rear bumper for 25 laps 3rd was Jeremy Frenier, 4th Dominic Ursetta, 5th Brady Coen, 6th John Fose, 7th David Lindsay 8th David Murray, 9th Brett Smith, 10th Dylan Sherfick, 11th Clint Graves, 12th Dick Brack, 13th Nick Engen, 14th Angie Hayes, 15th Cody Gerarhart, 16th Trent Gray, 17th Ronnie Hill, 18th Jarod Baylie, 19th Ryan Gaylord, 20th Chris Dawson, 21st Bubba Alvarado, 22nd Adam Morris, 23rd Chad Taylor, 24th Beau Speicher,and 25th Kyle Rohleder wrapped up the field. Both Colorado and Kansas Tours came down to the last night, but after Nine Colorado shows and nine Kasas shows in the 2011 season, it was Ursetta Becoming Colorados BST/IMCA Champion and Gearhart becoming the Kansas BST/IMCA Champion.. |

So everyone did very well and congrats to all in the top ten, some stand outs are both champions of course, but Ryan Gaylord finishing 3rd in both Colorado and Kansas is very impressive. Both Monie and Burrows hanging in there with the big dogs is impressive as well, but congrats to all and thank you for all running with us this year and we are all ready working on next year as we speak...

Yes Joe, There are the real good ones and the other ones are getting real good. Anyone of the Drivers that you Listed can win races. Congrats to All the drivers in the BST series.

BST 2011 Hard Charger will be "Ursetta" getting the point lead late in the season and never looking back.
BST 2011 Rookie will be "Aaron Monie" with his great top ten run for his first full season. BST 2011 Most Improved goes to "Ryan Gaylord" with 3rd place in both Colorado and Kansas Tours. Congrats to all |
