Hey, it doesn't hurt to ask. My name is Bruce Pearson. During the '08 season at CNS, I worked as the "gas man". This past season, I worked with our motorsports group that was raffleing off the '08 CNS Pace Car. Our group is a racing program for at-risk high school kids teaching them math, physics, business skill, and get your butt to class skills through stock car racing. We are going to run the #41 Superstock at CNS next year. We are under the umbrella of a 501 (3) (c) non-profit at our school.
I would be interested in anything that you might want to donate and receive a tax credit for donating to our non-profit group. Superstocks cannot run radios but the other stuff we could sure use. Or......if there is anyone else that you know who would be interested in working with us, in ANY capacity, please put them in contact with me. We have had many drivers in the past 2 years bring their cars or race trucks out to our school and talk with the kids. It has helped tremendously!
