The I-25 speedway #49 hornet Is for sale. This is a proven top 5 car that has a ton of heat and main wins over the past 2 seasons. 1.8l with a 5 speed manual transmission. Great starter car that is capable of getting you to the top of the class from the start. I finished 6th in points in the car, and it was my 1st season out. This was one of 4 cars to get a main event win this season (16, 98, 51 and me). The car has the dents and dings of a seasoned short track car, but remember it IS a beginner level car. Includes Safety Racing "Elite" belts (dated march of 09, they still have 2 years that they will be legal for use), DM performance seat, detachable steering wheel, a full set of spare wheels plus a couple additional wheels. The tires (fuzion HRi) on the car right now still have more than 50% of tread left, and a cage built by Alan Smith. Car has had the oil and filter changed every 3rd run to keep the motor sailing along. This car will meet tech for i-25 speedway, El Paso County Speedway, and with a couple easy modifications will pass tech at BCS and I-76 speedway. Local pickup or can drop off within the pueblo area with cash in hand. Asking $1500, but cash talks. I would also trade this car to someone to build my car for next season.
