Offered for sale my CARC Mod Coupe. I love the car and love racing, but love to eat and own a home more. Desperate to sell but need to have close to my asking price. It's a good deal, really!
Good car with slow engine. Chassis is awesome, built by Wagner and updated by Wilson in 2006. It ran as Marv Slusser Jr.s #56 with High Plains and I ran it as #7 for 3 seasons. It ran in '09 as #88 with Scottzilla Bremkamp driving. This car placed 10th in CARC points in '08 and 9th in '09 due to sheer consistency. Engine is 350 Chevy with .040" overbore but block was cracked due to freezing last winter and has water getting into oil. We changed the oil between each race meet and didn't have a problem. Put in your mill and run with the big boys. I simply can't afford do.
Rear end vent showed some smoke latter part of season after slightly bent axle (quick change) tube was straightened; no external leaks seen.
Left upright side of wing fell off last night at CNS. Can probably be repaired. Tranny will need to be looked at; it pops out of 4th unless it's bungee-corded in.
Has 6" RAM clutch and all required CNS/CARC safety features as of 2009 and car handles very well when set up correctly.
Car can be seen at Bremkamp's place in Brighton. My business is set up to accept PayPal, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express cards, too. I will accept checks but will make sure they clear before releasing car. US Cash is always good, too. I can deliver to Colorado Front Range for negotiated fee. If in Denver Metro, will be for free.
